Pre-press Technician

We are proud to be working with a well-established manufacturing and design business in Beccles who are looking to add a Pre-Press Technician to their Creative Services team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the print or packaging sector who enjoys working to tight deadlines and producing accurate, high-quality artwork. Full training will be provided on the company's internal systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Create print-ready artwork using Adobe Creative Cloud for internal and external approval.
• Collaborate with production, sales, and design teams to meet detailed client briefs.
• Maintain accuracy and consistency across all artwork, even under pressure.
• Prepare files for print and liaise with external suppliers for colour-matched samples.
• Produce production packs including approved inks, printing plates, and films.
• Manage projects from the initial customer files through to final production approval.

Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Strong Mac skills and advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a design and print production setting.
• Understanding of silkscreen, tampo, and flexographic printing processes (advantageous).
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to artwork preparation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work well within a team and meet demanding deadlines.
