Presales technical consultant

Job Title: Junior Pre-Sales Consultant (IT Storage/Hardware) Location: Flexible – remote based / Work From Home (WFH) Salary: Up to £40,000 + bonus + benefits Key skills: SAN, HPE, Netapp, NAS, Hardware, Technical Account Management, Technical Sales, IBM, Pre-sales, Consultancy, WFH, Design, HPC, Super compute, Junior Architect Chapman Tate Associates seeks Junior Pre-Sales Consultant (IT Storage/Hardware) to join this established technology house that deliver a range of AI, ML and HPC solutions to a range of businesses within the higher education, scientific, research and development, and a host of enterprise based firms.

Responsibilities: Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose suitable storage solutions.

Assist in the preparation and delivery of technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.

Conduct product evaluations and proof-of-concept activities to showcase the effectiveness of storage solutions.

Work closely with the engineering and product development teams to stay updated on the latest features and enhancements.

Provide technical support during the sales process, addressing customer inquiries and concerns.

Participate in sales meetings and contribute to strategic discussions regarding market trends and competitive analysis.

Requirements: Strong understanding of IT storage technologies, including but not limited to IBM, Dell, Lenovo, HPC and HP storage solutions.

Familiarity with storage networking protocols such as SAN, NAS, and Fibre Channel.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in the field of IT sales and pre-sales engineering.

Relevant certifications (e.g., Comp TIA Storage+, Dell EMC Proven Professional, IBM Certified Specialist) are a plus.
