Pre-school Room Leader / Third in Charge

We Currently have a Vacancy for an enthusiastic Room Leader in one of our Pre-School Rooms at our setting in Shirley on  Regents Park Road

Desirable skills for this role

• Former experience working in a childcare environment e.g. day nursery/after school club/school


• Knowledge of OFSTED, EYFS and other relevant childcare policies and programs


• Knowledge of safeguarding and the role of a DSL


• Paediatric first aid certificate


• Food hygiene certificate


• Current Level 4 Safeguarding training certificate

This Job involves

• Leading a team of practitioner to Provide outstanding care to one of our Pre-School Rooms


• Leading the settling in sessions with the new parents, establishing positive relationships and supporting both the child and parents during these sessions.


• Ensure paperwork within the rooms is completed accurately and efficiently.


• Promote the nursery to current parents and prospective parents.


• Lead team and support your team to fulfil their individual personal development plans

Full Time - Monday-Friday 40hrs week

Starting Salary - £32,219.20

For all Regents Park employees an extra 0.30p per hour worked is paid, as a weighting payment, to recognise the location of the nursery. This is included within the Salary advertised *Subject to terms and conditions.
