Job Description - Press Brake Operative

Are you a Press Brake Operator? Do you have setting/operating experience on press brake machines? Are you able to work from engineering drawings/job cards?
If so, an opportunity has become available for a successful aerospace manufacturing business based in Derby!

Press Brake Operator
Permanent Opportunity
Late Shift
Monday (15.00 – 01.00) and Tuesday to Thursday (15.00 – 00.30)
Derby
Press Brake Operator
Job Description:

  • Setting and operating Press Brake machinery
  • Reading job cards and engineering drawings to be able to set the machine correctly.
  • Setting the appropriate tooling for the machines depending on the parts
  • Inspecting finished products

Press Brake Operator
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • Setting and Operating experience of Press Brakes
  • Reading engineering drawings
  • Proactive attitude
  • Experience working with sheet metal (ideally below 5mm)
