I am currently working with a well-established and growing engineering business based in Redditch who are a sub-contract sheet metal working company. Due to an increase in the order book, they now have a requirement for a Press Brake Setter/Operator to join their existing team on the shop floor.

Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the Press Brake Setter/Operator will be using a 2 year old Bystronic press brake. however, if you have knowledge or experience of other press brake machines cross-training can be given.

The ideal candidate for the Press Brake Setter/Operator role will have:

• A good knowledge of press brake machines, preferably Bystronic.
• The ability to read engineering drawings.
• Gained previous experience in a similar role.
• Good communication skills.

In return the Press Brake Setter/Operator can expect to receive a competitive salary, 33 days flexible holiday entitlement and free onsite parking. The working hours for this role will be Mon-Friday 6-2, 2-10 rotating, or permanent 2-10, however, a degree of flexibility will be expected if there is the requirement to cover other shifts.
