Job Description - Press Break Operator

Do you have experience operating a press brake? Have you worked with aluminium? Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity in a fast-paced engineering environment? If so, our client, an engineering business, is recruiting for a Press Brake Operator. The role will involve being responsible for setting up and operating a Safan Darley press brake, ensuring precision and accuracy in the fabrication process.

Job Description

Setting and operating a Safan Darley press brake to fabricate precision metal components.
Handling large aluminium sheets, ensuring proper positioning and secure handling throughout the bending process.
Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Conducting quality checks on finished components, ensuring they meet high industry standards before moving to the next stage of production.
Maintaining a safe and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety procedures at all times.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Previous experience setting and operating press-brakes
Aluminium experience
Experience working with large components
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
