Pricing Actuary - Reinsurance

I am conducting a search on behalf of an established London-based insurer seeking a newly qualified actuary (3+ years' experience) with a strong focus on reinsurance pricing to join their growing team.

In this role, you will work closely with the Deputy Head of Pricing, supporting pricing strategy across international reinsurance portfolios. You will play a key part in shaping portfolio performance, driving analytical insight, and contributing to the development of pricing methodologies across multiple lines of business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Pricing and analysis of reinsurance treaties across international portfolios
• Supporting portfolio optimisation and underwriting strategy through data-driven insights
• Enhancing and developing exposure-based and experience-based pricing models
• Collaborating with underwriting and actuarial teams to steer pricing and analytics direction

Desirable skills/experience:

• London Market and/or Lloyd's reinsurance pricing experience
• Strong technical skills (Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python or R)
• Experience building and refining reinsurance pricing tools and models
