Pricing Analyst

About the Role We’re looking for a Pricing Analyst to join a growing delegated authority insurer, supporting the development, monitoring and optimisation of pricing across multiple schemes and binders. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys analytical problem‑solving, working with large data sets, and influencing underwriting decisions through clear, evidence‑based insight.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse performance of delegated schemes, identifying trends, loss drivers and pricing opportunities.

Build and maintain pricing models to support profitable growth and portfolio optimisation.

*

Work closely with Underwriting, Actuarial and Operations to refine rating strategies and ensure alignment with risk appetite.

Produce regular MI, performance reports and recommendations for senior stakeholders.

*

Support audits, bordereaux reviews and data quality improvements across delegated partners.

What We’re Looking For

*

Experience in pricing, actuarial or analytical roles within insurance (delegated authority experience a bonus).

*

Strong Excel skills; exposure to SQL, R or Python beneficial.

*

Confident communicator able to translate complex analysis into clear commercial recommendations.

*

Detail‑driven, curious and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
