Job Description - Pricing Manager - Protection

EXCLUSIVE TO EAMES

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced actuary to join a leading global reinsurer's Protection Pricing team in a visible and influential manager role. You'll lead and develop junior team members, oversee pricing delivery, and help drive improvements across tools, modelling and assumptions.

What you'll be doing:

Lead and review pricing work across Protection products
Support quotes, pricing assumptions, experience studies and treaty performance
Work closely with internal partners and senior stakeholders
Contribute to new propositions and commercial negotiations
Help improve models, processes and pricing capability
Line manage, coach and develop other team members

What we're looking for:

Qualified Actuary with solid Protection experience (income protection, CI, terminal illness or similar)
Strong pricing background; reinsurance experience a bonus but not essential
Comfortable explaining complex concepts to varied audiences
Collaborative leader who enjoys developing others
Strong analytical judgement and ability to balance commercial and risk considerations
Skilled in Excel; experience with R, Python, VBA or Power BI beneficial
