Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Care Pharmacist to join their multidisciplinary team at a GP practise in Somerset.

FTE of £50,000 DOE working 30 hours per week plus benefits!

Must Have Requirements for a Primary Care Pharmacist

• Extensive experience working in a primary care setting.
• Proven ability to provide care through remote consultations and face-to-face interactions.
• Completed the CPPE Pathway.
• Completed the Non-Medical Prescribing qualification.

Role Responsibilities for a Primary Care Pharmacist

• Provide remote services to registered patients, offering advice on medicines, repeat prescriptions, and general pharmaceutical queries.
• Assist the primary care site with prescribing, audits, and managing high-risk drugs to ensure safe, effective patient care.
• Prescribe urgent medications using summary care records to ensure accurate re-prescribing.
• Identify and manage clinical risks and health queries, ensuring patient safety and optimal care.
