Academics are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed Primary Teacher to join a welcoming school in Eastbourne from after the October half term.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher looking for a full-time class teaching position for the remainder of the academic year, working within a supportive and friendly primary school.

The Role

As the class teacher, you will take responsibility for the planning, delivery and assessment of engaging lessons, while creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.

You will be responsible for:

Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Taking responsibility for the progress and development of your class
Creating an engaging, inclusive and well-managed classroom
Assessing pupils' learning and adapting teaching accordingly
Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and the wider school community
Contributing to the wider life of the school

The Ideal Candidate

The successful Primary Teacher will:

Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Have previous experience teaching within a UK primary school
Be confident teaching a primary class independently
Have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum
Have excellent classroom management skills
Be passionate about supporting children's learning and development
Be reliable, enthusiastic and committed to achieving the best outcomes for pupils
