Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (dependent on experience)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Class Teacher to join our outstanding SEN School in Lambeth. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for primary-aged students with a variety of special educational needs.


• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and confident.


• Work closely with the SENCO to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students.


• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, helping them to overcome barriers to learning.


• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods to ensure continuous development.


• Collaborate with support staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to student well-being and achievement.


• Contribute to the development of the school's SEN provision and culture of inclusion.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.


• Experience working with students with special educational needs, ideally in a primary or SEN setting.


• Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and how to differentiate effectively.


• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students with diverse learning needs.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.


• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
