Are you confident, proactive, and passionate about supporting children in the classroom? We are looking for a Primary Cover Supervisor to work across a range of friendly and supportive primary schools in Southend.

About the role:
As a Primary Cover Supervisor, you will supervise whole classes during teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain on task and engaged with the work set. This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring teachers, experienced support staff, or anyone with strong classroom experience looking for the next step.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-prepared lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2

Manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment

Support pupils with their learning and maintain high expectations

Follow school policies and work collaboratively with staff

What we’re looking for:

Experience working with children in a primary school setting

Confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management skills

Adaptable, reliable, and able to engage quickly with new groups of pupils

A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
