Primary Distribution Driver - Dunbar

As a Primary Distribution Driver, you play a vital role in our logistics team, ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of products to various destinations. Your reliability and professionalism are evident from the moment you embark on your journey, guaranteeing a timely and flawless delivery of beer, wines, and spirits to Greene King Depots, Distribution Centres and other outlets. The working hours are an average of 48 hours per week between Monday and Friday with paid breaks. This position will require up to 4 night away per week covering delivery's from Dunbar brewery to the Distribution Centre in Bury St Edmunds  and also covering the Day driver when on holiday out of Dunbar to local distribution centre.

Your role as Primary Distribution Driver

• Conduct daily vehicle and trailer checks to ensure safe and legal operational conditions. 

• Maintain vehicles, trailers, and associated equipment at a compliant safety level. 

• Transport various loads across the UK while adhering to driver-hours regulations. 

• Prioritise health and safety guidelines, ensuring excellent customer service throughout operations.

• Resilient attitude, capable of handling challenges and adapting to changing situations effectively.  

• Hold a Class 1 (C+E) driving licence & Full Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
