The Role
As a Year 1 Class Teacher, you will:
· Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum
· Foster a love of learning in young children
· Support pupils transition from EYFS into Key Stage 1
· Assess, monitor and track pupil progress
· Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
· Contribute positively to the wider life of the school

We Are Looking For Someone Who:
· Holds (or will obtain) Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) by September 2026
· Has a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and early reading/phonics
· Is enthusiastic, reflective and committed to professional development
· Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and behaviour management
· Has high expectations for all pupils
· Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
