TeacherActive is proud to partner with a range of welcoming primary schools across Nottingham. We are currently recruiting confident and adaptable Higher Level Teaching Assistants for flexible day-to-day assignments from September, with longer-term opportunities available for suitable candidates.

About the Role:

Work flexibly across friendly primary schools in Nottingham
Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
Lead targeted interventions and small-group activities
Adapt learning to meet pupils’ individual needs and abilities
Promote positive behaviour and foster an engaging classroom atmosphere
Support pupils to build confidence and achieve progress
Choose from day-to-day or longer-term placements
Gain valuable experience within a variety of school settings
The Successful HLTA will have:

Recognised HLTA qualification or equivalent classroom experience
Experience supporting and delivering lessons to primary-aged pupils
Confidence in leading whole-class and small-group learning
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning needs
Patient, enthusiastic and flexible approach
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
Proactive attitude towards personal learning and professional development
