Salary: £28,521 - £29,346 FTE | NJC Outer London Grade 3, Spine Point 5-7

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant and Midday Supervisor to work closely with pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, providing tailored support and pastoral care throughout the school day.

What You'll Be Doing

*Support children's learning and emotional development in the classroom.
*Supervise and care for pupils during lunch and playtimes.
*Encourage interaction, independence and positive behaviour.
*Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement support strategies.

What We are Looking For

*Level 1 or 2 Diploma (or equivalent) and strong practical skills.
*Previous experience working with children in an educational or care setting.
*Solid literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.
*Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
*The confidence to motivate and engage children in their learning.
*A compassionate approach, recognising the individual needs of pupils.
*Understanding of child protection, safeguarding, and inclusive practices.
*The right to work in the UK (NO VISA SPONSORSHIP)
*Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to apply for one through Hays with no upfront cost
