Help Young Learners Thrive Through Personalised Support
We're looking for a QTS-qualified Primary Tutor to support children across the BCP area through tailored 1:1 tuition.
Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you'll provide personalised educational support to primary-aged learners who require alternative provision or additional help to access learning. Many of the children we support have experienced barriers to education and benefit from a patient, nurturing, and engaging tutor who can help rebuild confidence and encourage progress.

Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Minimum 6 months' experience in an educational setting Experience teaching or supporting primary-aged children Strong understanding of the primary curriculum Ability to deliver engaging, personalised lessons Experience supporting children with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirable Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Patient, adaptable, and child-centred approach Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel within the local area

You'll work with children who may present with a range of needs, including:
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs ADHD Anxiety and school avoidance Speech, language, and communication difficulties EHCPs and additional learning needsEach learner has unique strengths and challenges, requiring a creative and flexible approach to help them succeed.
