Primary School Site Manager

A Primary School in Cheadle are seeking a dedicated and proactive Site Manager to join their inclusive and welcoming school community on a permanent basis.

Location: Cheadle, Stockport
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week, all year round, permanent
Working Pattern: Monday-Thursday: 10:00 am - 6:30 pm | Friday: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Start Date: August / SeptemberSalary: £25,584 - £27,269 DOE

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Support the Headteacher and Business Manager in maintaining high standards across the school environment
• Ensure the security and safety of the school premises and its contents
• Operate and monitor the electronic energy management system
• Carry out general maintenance and repairs as required
• Undertake routine and ad-hoc cleaning duties throughout the school
• Conduct regular checks of the school grounds and fire alarm systems, maintaining accurate records
• Ensure safe and accessible entry to the school, particularly during adverse weather (e.g., snow clearance, gritting)
• Comply with all Health & Safety regulations and relevant legislation
• Be flexible with working hours to cover absences and support project completion

Key Skills/Experience:

• Experience of Site Management/Supervision, preferably within an educational environment
• Experience in performing basic maintenance
• Demonstrate high standards and expectations in all aspects of their work
• Approachable, professional, and confident working in a primary school setting
• Familiar with safeguarding, security, and confidentiality procedures
• Adaptable and willing to take on a variety of tasks as outlined in the job description
