We’re working with a warm and welcoming primary school in the NG3 area seeking a dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team full time.

This is a fantastic opportunity to teach an enthusiastic Year 1 class in a school that prides itself on nurturing curiosity, creativity, and confidence in every child.

The Role

Teaching a Year 1 class full time, delivering engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum

*

Focusing on phonics, early literacy, and numeracy development through imaginative teaching

*

Creating a stimulating classroom environment where pupils feel confident, valued, and inspired

*

Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, adapting lessons to meet diverse learning needs

*

Working collaboratively with support staff and parents to ensure every child thrives

What We’re Looking For

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)

*

Experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 1

*

A nurturing and enthusiastic teaching style with strong knowledge of phonics

*

Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills

*

A positive, team-oriented attitude and commitment to whole-school life
