Job Title: Primary School Teacher – Key Stage 1 & 2 (Merthyr Tydfil)

Location: Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales, UK

Salary: £173.00 per day (minimum)

Our client, a leading specialist provider of educational staffing, is seeking dedicated and experienced Primary School Teachers to join a welcoming school in Merthyr Tydfil. This is an excellent opportunity for teachers with experience in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 to contribute to a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver engaging lessons to pupils in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in accordance with the national curriculum

* Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student development

* Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic achievement

* Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student learning and wellbeing

* Prepare and adapt lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of learners

* Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and behaviour

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

* Proven experience teaching primary school children, specifically in KS1 and KS2

* Strong understanding of the UK primary curriculum and assessment methods

* Excellent communication and classroom management skills

* Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs

* Reliable, professional, and committed to high standards of education

Working Hours:

* Full-time or part-time positions available

* Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
