The Role

As a Primary Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2, helping pupils develop their knowledge, confidence and independence.

You will deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum, manage behaviour and create a positive learning environment. This is an opportunity to gain experience within education and training.

The role suits experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) seeking flexible work across local primary schools.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging lessons across primary year groups

Maintain positive behaviour and classroom routines

Assess progress and adapt teaching to individual needs

Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Encourage pupils' confidence and independence

Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents

Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies

Candidate Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an appropriate recognised teaching qualification

Primary teaching experience, including placements for ECTs

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Flexible, enthusiastic and adaptable approach

Ability to engage pupils of different abilities

Passion for supporting children's development

Enhanced Child DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
