  Develop and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel valued, understood, and encouraged to actively participate, helping them build essential skills and confidence

  Engage in ongoing assessment and monitoring of student progress, using insights from both formal and informal assessments to adapt teaching strategies as needed for optimal growth and learning

  Participate in school-led SEN training and professional development, enhancing your expertise in SEN teaching and keeping up-to-date with best practices and innovative approaches in inclusive education

Experience & Qualifications

• 
  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in primary teaching, ideally across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2; experience in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) setting is advantageous, allowing you to bring an empathetic and understanding approach to individualized learning


• 
  Strong commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment, with the flexibility and creativity required to adapt lesson plans and teaching methods to support diverse learning needs


• 
  Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective teamwork with SEN staff, support professionals, and families to create a well-rounded support network for each student


• 
  Patient, compassionate approach that encourages students to feel secure, supported, and motivated to reach their potential in both academic and personal development


• 
  Enhanced DBS check required to ensure the safety and well-being of all students
