Primary SEN Teaching Assistant - Mansfield Area

Protocol Education is seeking caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) across a range of welcoming primary schools in the Mansfield area.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with additional needs.
Assist children with a range of SEN, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech & Language needs, and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Support pupils both inside and outside the classroom.
Help implement strategies and interventions to encourage engagement and progress.
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to provide the best possible support.

Requirements

Experience working with children or young people with additional needs is desirable.
A patient, nurturing, and positive approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
