Academics is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Primary Supply Teachers to work across a range of local primary schools in Barry, Dinas Powys, Cowbridge, St Athan and the wider Vale of Glamorgan.

Whether you're an experienced teacher looking for a better work-life balance or an NQT looking to gain valuable classroom experience, we have a variety of opportunities to suit your preferences and availability.

With strong relationships with primary schools across Barry and the Vale, Academics can help you find flexible supply work that fits around your schedule, with the potential for up to five days of work per week.

The Role

Delivering engaging lessons across a range of primary school year groups.
Following lesson plans and ensuring continuity of learning.
Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Adapting to different school settings and pupils' learning needs.
Building relationships with pupils and school staff across local schools.
Working on an ad-hoc basis, choosing how many days you work each week.We're Looking For

Qualified Primary Teachers with QTS.
Both NQTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A flexible, reliable and adaptable approach.
A passion for supporting pupils' learning and development.
Access to a vehicle is highly desirable to make travelling between schools across the Vale of Glamorgan easier.Pay & Requirements

£179 per day, with potential increases depending on your experience and the school's agreed rate.
Enhanced DBS certificate required.
