Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor pupil progress and adjust teaching accordingly.

Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes independence and confidence.

Liaise effectively with parents, carers, and external agencies to support pupil development.

Provide guidance and support to teaching assistants and other staff working with pupils with additional needs.

Contribute to whole-school initiatives and professional development related to inclusion and SEN provision.

Maintain accurate records in line with school policies and statutory requirements.

Person Specification

Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.

Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Desirable:

Experience working with pupils with specific needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties).

Additional qualifications or training in SEN or inclusion.

Experience using specialist interventions or assistive technologies.

What We Offer

A warm, supportive, and collaborative school community.

Access to high-quality professional development and training.

Opportunities to innovate and make a real difference in children’s lives.
