We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Primary Teacher to join our friendly, supportive team at a two-form entry primary school in Blackpool. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact in a large and welcoming school with a close-knit community. The role is a full-time, fixed-term position starting April 2026 - July 2026 (potential to continue).
Primary Teacher Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that align with the National Curriculum Develop engaging and differentiated learning activities that challenge and support all students in reaching their full potential. Work closely with the Teaching Assistant to ensure tailored support for students, especially those with additional learning needs. Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to pupils and parents on academic achievements and development. Lead, guide, and motivate Key Stage 2 pupils, ensuring they are well-prepared for their transition to secondary school. Collaborate with the wider staff team and leadership to ensure high standards of teaching and learning across the school.
Primary Teacher Key Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent experience teaching Excellent behaviour management techniques with a good sense of humour The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies. Passionate about supporting children's development both academically and socially.
