About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and inspirational Primary Teacher to join our welcoming school community in Exeter.

You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons, assess and monitor pupil progress, and contribute actively to the wider life of the school. We are looking for someone who combines strong classroom practice with a genuine commitment to the wellbeing and development of every pupil.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative and differentiated lessons.
• Establish a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
• Monitor, assess and record pupil progress effectively.
• Adapt teaching to meet the individual needs of all learners.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers.
• Contribute to curriculum development and wider school activities.
• Promote high standards of behaviour, achievement and personal development.
• Support the safeguarding and wellbeing of all pupils.

About You

The successful candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Have excellent communication, organisation and classroom-management skills.
• Be creative, enthusiastic and committed to raising pupil achievement.
• Build positive relationships with children, colleagues and families.
• Be reflective and keen to contribute to their own professional development.
• Share our commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and the wellbeing of pupils.
