Primary Teacher

Long Term Teachers are currently working with a selection of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Penzance who are looking for enthusiastic teachers to join them on an ad-hoc basis.

Whether you're looking for a few days of work each week, occasional teaching alongside other commitments, or the flexibility to choose when you work, we can offer opportunities to suit your availability.

The Opportunity

As an ad-hoc teacher, you could work across a range of year groups and school settings, gaining valuable experience while making a real difference to pupils' learning.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering engaging and effective lessons
• Following lesson plans and school expectations
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Supporting pupils with their learning and development
• Managing behaviour confidently and consistently
• Building positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Adapting quickly to different classrooms and school environments

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will be:

• A qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent
• Experienced within a primary school environment
• Confident teaching across different year groups
• Reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic
• Passionate about education and supporting children's progress
• Able to quickly build positive relationships
• Looking for a flexible approach to teaching
