About the role - Primary Teacher - Barnet

Keeping up-to-date with curriculum changes and planning lessons according to national curriculum guidelines.
Coordinating with colleagues and TAs to create engaging lessons for students of all abilities.
Enhancing pupils' exploration of a topic using a variety of resources.
To motivate and encourage interaction in the classroom, different teaching methods are used, including whole class, group work, independent research, demonstrations, experiments and play.
Taking responsibility for the academic progress of each pupil and providing assistance and support as necessary.
Setting homework and conducting assessments.
Establishing a respectable learning environment for pupils.
Establishing school policies regarding discipline and behaviour, including dealing with inappropriate behaviour
Taking part in training and development.
