The Role

Deliver engaging and creative lessons across Key Stage 1
Plan, teach and assess learning in line with the National Curriculum
Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support pupil progress
Contribute to the wider life of the school and promote high standards of learning and behaviour
What We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 is desirable
Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective classroom practice
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
A positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach to teaching
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Connex Education
