About the Role

A welcoming and supportive Primary School in Tarporley is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire young learners and contribute to a positive and engaging learning environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching across Key Stage 1, fostering academic progress, and supporting pupils' personal and social development. The role is available for an immediate start and will initially run until Christmas, with the possibility of being extended for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and achievement.
Assess, monitor and record pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
Differentiate learning to support pupils of varying abilities and learning styles.
Establish high expectations for behaviour and learning.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and senior leaders to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and carers.
Contribute to the wider life of the school and participate in staff meetings, training and school events.
Maintain accurate records and fulfil all professional responsibilities expected of a class teacher.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 or Early Years/KS1 settings.
A strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum.
Excellent classroom management skills.
The ability to develop positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
A commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
A passion for helping children achieve their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
