Primary Teacher (Part-Time – 2 Days per Week) Location: Lewisham (Access to free car parking available) Pay: £180–£220/day (DOE) Duration: Part-Time (2 Days per Week) | Long-Term Start: September Starts Available Closing Date: July 2026 Luma Education Recruitment is seeking an experienced Primary Teacher to join a supportive school on a part-time basis, working 2 days per week. You’ll deliver engaging lessons, manage behaviour effectively, and support pupils of all abilities, helping them thrive in a positive and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: * Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils in Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2 * Create and maintain a calm, structured, and inclusive classroom environment * Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development * Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress in line with school expectations * Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils * Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures, and individual pupil support plans Requirements: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) * Experience teaching within UK primary schools * Strong classroom management and communication skills * Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families * Flexible, adaptable, and confident in delivering high-quality teaching * Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service) or willingness to obtain one prior to starting Benefits: * Competitive daily rate (£180–£220) with weekly pay * Flexible part-time working pattern * Long-term opportunity with potential for a permanent position * Streamlined registration process and dedicated payroll support * Access to CPD and professional development opportunities * Ongoing support from a specialist education recruitment consultant We are currently arranging site visits and interviews, with applications being reviewed as they are received.* About Luma Education Recruitment Luma Education Recruitment connects talented teachers and support staff with schools across the UK.
