Role Highlights:

- Teach primary-aged students with special educational needs in a supportive, tailored learning environment
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that meet the diverse learning needs of students
- Work closely with the SENCO, support staff, and external professionals to ensure individualised learning plans (IEPs) are followed and students make progress
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued, confident, and supported
- Track student progress and provide feedback to parents and carers, ensuring open communication about student development
- Promote students’ personal and social development alongside their academic progress
Experience & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching primary-aged students, ideally in a special educational needs or independent school setting
- Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and differentiation techniques
- Passion for working with children with additional needs and a commitment to helping them succeed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Enhanced DBS check required
