We're working with a warm, welcoming primary school based in Stoke-on-Trent that is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Year 2 class teacher to join their team for the Autumn Term.

• 26 well-behaved and enthusiastic pupils

• A high percentage of EAL learners, so experience with diverse language needs is a huge plus

• Strong emphasis on phonics and early reading progression

• Experienced teaching assistant to support

• A confident and creative class teacher who can hit the ground running

• Someone with strong phonics knowledge and delivery (e.g., Little Wandle, Read Write Inc., Letters and Sounds - any major scheme welcome)

• A teacher who values inclusive learning and can adapt teaching to meet individual needs

• Passion for helping children grow, particularly in reading and writing
