We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Primary Teaching Assistants to join two supportive primary schools in Bradley Stoke, South Gloucestershire. These full-time positions offer the chance to make a real difference by providing 1:1 support for children in Reception with high SEND and SEMH needs as they settle into school life.

• Provide one-to-one support for a Reception-aged child with significant SEND and SEMH needs.

• Assist with emotional regulation, behaviour management, and social development.

• Support the child’s learning, independence, and confidence throughout the school day.

• Help facilitate daily routines, including playtime, mealtimes, and transitions.

• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external specialists to deliver tailored support.

• Contribute to creating a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment that reflects the schools’ values of respect, resilience, and individualised learning.

• Monitor and record progress, providing regular feedback to the teaching team.

• Essential: Experience supporting children with challenging behaviour and/or SEMH needs.

• Desirable: Experience in Reception or Primary school settings.
