Day-to-day supply Long-term placements Part-time or full-time hours The Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils one-to-one and in small groups, helping them overcome barriers to learning and reach their potential Build positive relationships and boost children's confidence, engagement and independence Support class teachers across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 Help create a calm, positive learning environment Support children with additional needs, including social, emotional and behavioural challenges You might be a great fit if you have:
A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or Experience with children or young people in education, residential care, youth work, support work, sports coaching, childcare, mentoring or similar Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude The ability to settle quickly into different school environments Experience with SEND or challenging behaviour (a bonus, not essential) This role is ideal for:
Qualified TAs looking for flexible work Graduates considering a PGCE or a teaching career, a great way to gain classroom experience People from care, youth work, residential support or coaching backgrounds who want to move into schools Experienced support workers who love helping children succeed What you'll need
