Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of Civil Engineers, Designers, and Technicians
Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers
Manage team workload, resource planning, and project priorities
Provide technical leadership across water and wastewater infrastructure projects
Support outline and detailed design activities
Review engineering deliverables and maintain quality standards
Collaborate closely with clients and multidisciplinary project teams
Support recruitment, capability growth, and team development initiatives

Requirements

Strong civil engineering experience within the UK regulated water sector
Demonstrated experience leading teams and developing engineering capability
Background delivering water or wastewater infrastructure projects
Thorough understanding of outline and detailed design processes
Commercial awareness and project delivery experience
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership preferred
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline
