The Role

As the Principal Civil Engineer, you’ll manage and deliver projects involving flood risk assessments, drainage strategies, and the design of flood alleviation and surface water management schemes. You’ll also be responsible for developing client relationships and helping to secure new work, making a direct impact on the company’s growth.

Proficiency in WinDES is essential, with Civil 3D or PDS highly desirable for highways design.

The role is hybrid remote, with 2-3 days per week from their Bristol offices.

What’s Required?

The ideal candidate for this Principal Civil Engineer role will have:

• Extensive experience in highways and drainage civil engineering, with a proven consultancy background

• Demonstrated ability to develop client relationships and win new business

• Strong knowledge of flood risk assessments, SuDS, drainage strategies and familiarity with current planning and drainage policy/guidance

• Proficiency with WinDES, and working knowledge of Civil 3D or PDS

• A relevant Civil Engineering degree, with CEng (MICE or CIWEM)
