A specialist health, safety, and construction design risk management consultancy based in the Midlands is looking for a Principal Designer to join their dynamic team.

The Principal Designer Role

The successful Principal Designer will join a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing health and safety across a variety of construction projects. The role involves -

Acting as the Principal Designer on multiple projects, ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 regulations.
Providing expert advice on health and safety matters during the design and construction phases.
Coordinating with clients, architects, and contractors to identify and mitigate potential risks.
Preparing and reviewing health and safety documentation including pre-construction information and construction phase plans.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from small-scale residential developments to large, complex commercial builds, providing a diverse and engaging work environment.The ideal Principal Designer will have:

Specific experience in Principal Designer roles.
A background in construction or design.
Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and health and safety standards.
Consultancy experience and a proactive, positive attitude.
Relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH Construction Certificate, APS membership, or equivalent.In Return?
