Enterprise/ Portfolio Architect – Investment Technology
London
Up to £145k + Bonus & Benefits (Circa £22k+)

Global FS organization undergoing a Global half a billion-dollar transformation with a considerable budget allocated toward their Enterprise Architecture team! (Circa 100million customers and One-Hundred thousand plus employees)

The ideal candidate will have expertise of Portfolio Architecture and display confidence in leading enterprise architecture, design and delivery and adept at establishing and managing strategic architecture roadmap for portfolios, stakeholder engagement, establishing leading practices, running design and architecture review boards in collaboration with functional and technical leads, product owners and enterprise architects!

Role Summary:

Managing the architecture along with delivery for the Central technology portfolios; Group Finance, HR, Investments & Business Management although this role will have a

strong focus on Investment Technology and Services.

Technology and Data strategies to flourish to realise the targeted business opportunities and value:

· Unite Business, Technology and Data strategies into a technology roadmap
· Lead the transformation of technology estate
· Align innovation with strategy and business need
· Provide strategic thought-leadership

Managing the architecture of central portfolios. Portfolios collectively represent around

200 applications ,

700 team members.

Your core responsibilities include managing the architecture roadmap and governance, stability, and performance of deployed applications along with delivery of key initiatives within the functions.

Responsibilities :

Accountable for ensuring the products & services are supported by the right architectures and solutions meet the customer needs
Portfolio roadmap and governance; maintaining the current state & future architecture, backlog management, tech debts, development standards and enablers, etc.
Ensuring non-functional aspects such as overall stability and scalability of the platforms
Propositions for new capabilities and projects – engaging with stakeholders, gathering requirements and project parameters for enhancement and new requests.
Design/review the new solution architecture, familiarize the stakeholders, and take approvals.
Define the strategic roadmap for the platform and execute the same as a part of ongoing engagements.
Product evaluation for new capabilities.
Work with the project team to identify deliverables, define timelines and create detailed project plan.
Designed & delivered large transformation programme from legacy to innovative technology
Extensive experience in the asset management across Investment Management, operations, and distribution business - particularly within Private Assets (Real Estate, loans, etc).

Domain Knowledge: (nice to have)

Asset Management – Investments, Mutual Funds, Pensions, Public and Private Assets (Real Estate, loans, etc)
Capital Markets – Equities, Debt Funds and Securities
Understanding of Commercial and Investment Banking
