The Role of the Principal Fire Engineer

As a Principal Fire Engineer, you will:

• Lead the delivery of fire strategies and engineering solutions across a variety of sectors and complex projects.
• Take responsibility for client engagement, developing long-term relationships and supporting new business opportunities in the region.
• Support with mentorship of junior grades working collaboratively with the team in helping to shape their professional development.
• Play an instrumental role in establishing and growing the Birmingham office.
• Ensure projects meet the highest standards of compliance, quality, and innovation.

About You / The Principal Fire Engineer

We are looking for:

• A proven track record in fire engineering, with experience delivering strategies and solutions across the built environment.
• Chartered Engineer status (or working towards) with IFE or a similar body.
• Strong client-facing skills and the ability to build trusted relationships.
• Leadership experience, with a collaborative and supportive approach to mentoring others.
• The ambition to be part of a consultancy at an exciting stage of growth.
