Principal FPGA Engineer

A Principal FPGA Engineer with proven experience implementing FPGA based network equipment, a strong academic record and a background involving communication systems engineering and DSP will be highly rewarded with a fantastic salary package.

Our Client, enjoying continued growth, seeks a Principal level FPGA Engineer who will confidently take responsibility for designing, developing and testing digital systems using FPGAs.

The role can predominantly be worked remote, but some time will be needed on-site during the year (c10% of the annual working time per year as a rough guide)

Key Requirements include:

Minimum of Bachelors Degree in Electronics related discipline. MSc/PhD ideal.
Extensive experience of FPGA implementation of communication systems.
Proven experience working with FPGA synthesis tools such as Synplify, Vivado, Quartus.
Knowledge of SoC FPGA’s such as Zynq or Cyclone device families.
DSP Algorithm implementation in Verilog/VHDL.
Extensive experience writing FPGA test benches.
