Salary: £38,000 - £45,000

A specialist site investigation consultancy based near Newcastle is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their team. You'll be working on a variety of Ground Investigation, Remediation and Geotechnical Design projects around the North East - leading projects, developing skills and contributing to business development.

The successful Senior Geotechnical Engineer will receive:

The Senior Geotechnical Engineer selected will be overseeing site and report work. You'll be carrying out retaining wall, foundation design and slope stability design, writing and reviewing factual and interpretive reports, managing contracts, communicating with clients, contributing to bidding and tendering, developing and leading a team and carrying out ground investigations.

The Senior Geotechnical Engineer selected must have:

• Extensive experience working in the geotechnical industry and an understanding of geo-environmental schemes relating to contaminated land.
• A degree in geology, geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, environmental engineering or a similar, relevant subject.
• Hold a valid UK Driving licence.
• Commutable to Durham and the surrounding area.
• Have a full right to work in the UK.
