About the role:
We’re looking for a commercially minded and technically skilled Principal Pricing Analyst to join our Pricing function at Cuvva.
The Principal Pricing Analyst is a senior individual contributor role responsible for owning the pricing modelling framework, advancing the use of data science, AI and machine learning in pricing, setting pricing judgement and analytical standards, and delivering pricing recommendations across the business.
Reporting directly to our Director of Pricing & BI, you’ll act as a trusted expert in pricing modelling and decision-making as Cuvva continues to evolve and scale. Pricing decisions increasingly sit at the intersection of revenue growth, risk management and regulatory scrutiny; this role exists to ensure those decisions are robust, analytically sound and commercially grounded.
You’ll operate as a key partner to stakeholders across Pricing, Underwriting, Product and the wider business, helping leaders make confident pricing decisions by bringing modelling and commercial insight into the discussion. You’ll be expected to present, influence and challenge constructively, supporting stakeholders to understand trade-offs and make clear calls on pricing strategy.
You’ll lead complex pricing work end to end: defining problems, selecting modelling approaches, validating outputs, and translating results into clear recommendations. You’ll articulate trade-offs between growth, conversion and risk, and act as a stabilising technical and commercial authority within the pricing function.
This role is titled Principal Pricing Analyst, but may suit candidates with experience as Pricing Data Scientists or Actuaries working in modern pricing environments.
