Principal Product Leader (Principal Consultant) - Remote, UK Wide

What You'll Do
Lead end-to-end product ownership across one or more agile delivery teams, ensuring product quality, maturity, and successful delivery.
Mentor and manage business analysts and product consultants, promoting effective requirements-gathering and prioritisation processes.
Collaborate with delivery managers and solution architects to shape delivery approaches and drive product-level commercial negotiations.
Engage with senior product and programme stakeholders, securing buy-in, managing expectations, and facilitating workshops to align priorities.
Coach clients and colleagues on agile techniques and product management best practices.
Identify and drive commercial opportunities while maintaining strong commercial awareness.
Implement tools, standards, and techniques for business analysis and requirements gathering, ensuring alignment across teams.
Minimum Requirements
Proven experience in consulting or client-facing roles delivering bespoke software solutions.
Experience delivering projects in the public sector.
Responsible for owning end-to-end product backlogs, ensuring story quality and maturity.
Skilled in shaping approaches across software development lifecycle phases - analysis, acceptance, launch, and live operations.
Ability to devise goal-oriented roadmaps, gain stakeholder buy-in, and translate goals into value-driven work.
Experience leading and managing product teams, ensuring clarity of vision and effective scope management.
Strong team management and coaching skills, including mentoring colleagues and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Demonstrated commercial acumen with experience in revenue-generating initiatives.
Excellent facilitation skills, capable of negotiating conflicting viewpoints and securing stakeholder alignment.
Familiarity with relevant technologies and architecture concepts.
