You will work on a variety of unique and complex projects, delivering core solutions that have real impact.\n\nYou will bring strong technical leadership, guiding teams through both technical and delivery challenges while shaping solutions that meet customer needs.\n\n\u201cMy purpose is to lead a team of engineers, rise to the challenges presented, push the boundaries and define possible together.\u201d \n\u2013 Principal Software Manager, Northrop Grumman UK\n\nWhat You\u2019ll Do\n\n * Take ownership of multiple teams\u2019 deliverables and work with technical leads to define a path that meets customer requirements.\n\n * Represent Northrop Grumman UK as the prime technical contact for your area.\n\n * Collaborate with senior external partners and customers, often coordinating between organisations.\n\n * Mentor and guide engineers to support skills development and overall team growth.\n\n * Contribute to high\u2011quality technical design, development, and delivery planning.\n\n\n\n\nWhat We\u2019re Looking For\n\n * Experience as a Software Engineer with strong capability in one or more of the following:\n\n * Backend development (Java Spring Boot, Maven, Python)\n\n * Frontend development (JavaScript/TypeScript, React, npm)\n\n * Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying scalable backend systems.\n\n * Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD and containerisation technologies (Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS).\n\n * Strong communication, collaboration, and problem\u2011solving skills, ideally within an agile environment.\n\n\n\n\nIf you don\u2019t meet every requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
