We are looking for engineers to take our integration platform to the next level whilst maintaining core functionality on which thousands of our customers depend. As part of this varied role, we're also counting on you to: • Build new features in our core language Golang • Make key architectural decisions and help move the platform forward • Support product and delivery teams • Mentor and coach other team members.
If you are…
A Principal Engineer who is well versed across software engineering as a whole
A critical thinker who has seen plentiful business solution complexities around software and therefore an advocate of writing safe code.
A background of writing business critical/complex solution in C++/Java or C# preferred albeit more recently you will have focused on polyglot languages.
Have Golang experience and/or are interested/excited to use it.
Sitting across engineering, as Principal Engineer you will oversee 1) defining overall approach 2) design standards 3) training/coaching engineers 4) Process implementation and 4) assisting hands on when required with technical problems that require additional eyes etc
Any experience within finance, banking or retail finance of interest.
