Are you a skilled town planner ready to step into a principal-level role with a respected planning consultancy? Based in Leeds, this is a fantastic opportunity to lead on a range of exciting projects-spanning residential, mixed-use and growing renewable energy developments-within a supportive and forward-thinking consultancy environment.

The Role
As a Principal Town Planner, you'll take the lead on the preparation and management of planning applications, appeals, and development strategies for a varied client base. You'll work closely with developers, landowners, and local authorities, taking responsibility for project delivery and client communication. You'll also mentor junior staff and play an important part in business development and the ongoing growth of the Leeds office.

This is a hands-on role with genuine variety-from urban regeneration schemes to solar and low-carbon energy projects-and the autonomy to shape your own workload.

What We're Looking For:

• Town Planner with substantial UK planning experience (ideally in consultancy)

• MRTPI qualified or actively working towards chartership

• Strong track record in residential and/or mixed-use development

• Interest or experience in renewable energy projects is a plus

• Excellent communication, report writing and project coordination skills

• Confident working independently and managing client relationships
