Principal Fire Consultant

Location: Bristol & Surrounding Areas
Salary: Up to £80,000 DOE

We are looking for an experienced Principal Fire Consultant to join a growing consultancy, delivering fire safety services to a varied portfolio of clients across Bristol and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established fire professional looking to take on a senior role, lead projects and provide technical expertise across a range of fire safety services.

The Role

Undertaking Type 1, 2, 3 and 4 Fire Risk Assessments.

Delivering Fire Risk Appraisal of External Walls (FRAEW) assessments.

Providing technical advice and guidance to clients.

Reviewing and quality-assuring reports and assessments.

Managing projects and client relationships.

Supporting and mentoring junior consultants.

Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.

About You

Level 4 Diploma in Fire Risk Assessment (or equivalent).

Strong experience across Type 1–4 Fire Risk Assessments.

Proven experience undertaking FRAEW assessments.

Excellent technical knowledge of fire safety legislation and guidance.

Strong report-writing and communication skills.

Experience managing projects and working directly with clients.

Full UK driving licence.
